Esperance - Beautiful Beaches

We awoke to another sunny day so we decided to walk the Esplanade together. Along the way we visited the playground, the info centre, the cafe by the water and then the boys tried out the maze donated by the Rotary Club. Bloody funny to watch...

They have done this really cool thing with the oldest buildings in town called The Museum Village where they have transformed them and have arts and craft businesses operating from them - yet maintain the historic significance of what the buildings were originally used for. School, doctors surgery, police station, courthouse, and various others, all plaquarded with the original duration of tenancy they spent there. We thought this was cool.

Afterward, we did what they call the Great Ocean Drive, which runs west along the coast and allows you to take in some pretty amazing views of rugged coastline and beautiful beaches. We had lunch at a great spot where we could see 180 degrees from the town to the west.

Back in town we decided to go for another run where Zander paced his old man again for 5k this time encompassing the jetty, while Mav scooted with Mum.

A very nice place is Esperance. Put it on your list.

Jase....
